b. To receive update from the football club. Grantham Town Football Club Academy have had lots of meetings regarding the use of the football pitches. Plans have been drawn up to create flat pitches on tiered levels as there is a 10 mtr rise, with a clubhouse towards the end of one pitch. There is a good opportunity to create the best pitches in the area, but the cost of this is around £60-70k and three months’ work. South of the County Lincs FA have no fields in this area. They will seek a quote to floodlight the pitches to be able to play at conference level. The current cabins on site, will be ok for the time being, but long-term plan is to replace with a better structure.
