Did you know that we have a Certified Site for the Camping and Caravan Club?

Affording hard standing for motor homes and caravans, and tents are welcome too. Facilities include electric hook-up, water, toilet and elsan point. Situated adjacent to the playing field in Dallygate, NG33 5DP A short walk away is the Village Centre which is open most weekends and has a licenced bar, with a small play area outside for the little people.

Our rates are as follows:

Motor home, caravan or tent £10 per night and £2 per night for electricity (if required).

Caravan rallies are £5 per unit per night and £2 electricity (if required).

Burghley House is a grand sixteenth-century country house, It is a leading example of the Elizabethan prodigy house, built by and still lived in by the Cecil family. Its park was laid out by Capability Brown. The exterior very largely retains its Elizabethan appearance, but most of the interiors date from remodellings before 1800. The house is open to the public and displays a circuit of grand and richly-furnished state apartments.
