Open public forum. Hilda Whaley Barbara Furber and Hugo
Hugo put forward a proposal for a BMX type pump track in Hopes paddock on a scale of 10x15m. This is for older children and will not cost the PC as Hugo and family propose to do the work themselves. This was well received by the PC, it was agreed to peg out the area and meet up again to discuss the venture. Barbara Furber asked for a basket ball hoop with an area of hardcore surrounding it. This was well received and the PC will look into costings and installation. The state of the grey portacabin was brought up and it was agreed this building is condemned. IC has been offered a newer cabin to replace the grey cabin with the grey cabin being removed. It was agreed to go ahead with this. IC to find out any costs involved. Hilda Whaley explained the steps at Ellyslande are being used for bike stunts and there has already been damage to cars and riders. It was agreed to approach SKDC to resolve this matter urgently

Comments were made about SKDC scheme for pedestrianising Market Square in Grantham were made. Kerbside battery collections in Grantham will be available from next month. The use of Fix My Street was urged as it is the best way of reporting and getting jobs done.
6. VC matters and reports
The VC finally have control over the VC finances. The centre has very few visitors at the moment. It is felt villagers need to know it is being run under the management of the VC committee. There is no access to the Facebook VC page by the committee this needs to be rectified.
7a. Community playing field
Football continues to go well. Carlos wants to use the field on a permanent basis, and has offered to help renovate the cabins and containers. A meeting is to be set up to to discuss these issues asap.
8. Financial matters
- Updated financial accounts were given to all parish councillors and accepted.
- Update on Brown Trust
The Brown Trust monies have finally been resolved. Interest is being received monthly. The widows have been paid out on a one-off basis, and monies will be paid out in December in future. We have assurance from NS&I that the bond and the monies of £26000 are safe. CR is the designated contact person for the NS&I and all records are now up to date and can be viewed at any time. Copies of all legal documents are to be sent to Sarah Pert, who has the original bond for safe keeping. Many thanks to Sarah at HSBC who recognised the reference numbers from bank statements were from the NS&I, without her our monies would have stayed in limbo and effectively would have been lost.
